"James!" She could do nothing as she watched him being taken from her, the small party receding all to soon. She continued to hold his gaze, refusing to let him go. But still she knew she could not race after him, or she would be killed instantly. She felt helpless, powerless to stop the loss of her love once again. As she continued to gaze at him, her vision slowly faded to black until there was nothing that could be seen anymore.

Slowly the scene changed until she sat alone in the circular room, the wooden walls slightly ominous in appearance. She held him in her arms, shaking him gently, but there was no response. She leaned forward, her lips touching his forehead as she placed a gentle kiss upon his lips. Yet still there was no response. Tears slowly slipped down her face, silent sobs wracking her body as she held him tightly, hardly daring to let go. The dark cloud of shadows slowly came closer, enveloping the pair rather quickly. "James..."

She woke with a start, heart beating intensely in her chest. She glanced beside her quickly, making sure he was even there before allowing herself to calm down. It wasn't the first time the dreams had plagued her, but she knew better than to let herself be at ease. Suffering the Queen's Curse and being sent to that other world...it was awful for her to think about. Especially because she knew she had almost lost him there too.

No, she had, countless times, and it was all because of that, that...witch. The woman had hated her for a long time, but she was still furious that she had taken James from her. She couldn't stand the thought of loosing him again, becoming heartbroken just as she had not so long ago. No, she refused to go through such an ordeal once again.

She looked over at him once more, her gaze softening as she let herself breath, ignoring the remnants of the dream within her mind. She leaned over, her lips meeting the skin upon his forehead with a gentle kiss, lingering there for a moment as she prolonged the simple moment. She then leaned back once more, letting out a simple breath as a soft smile curled upon her lips. She watched him for a few more seconds before she slowly lay back down, letting her mind slowly slip back into her dreams as she comforted herself with his presence beside her.
