She'd spent quite a bit of time mulling over everything that'd happened recently. It'd been only a week since the Dark Curse was lifted and her memories came flooding back to her. She'd remembered her life before the curse, she remembered everything from living in the world of Storybrooke. Including him.
It'd been difficult adjusting to the memories, especially when she realized that he'd remembered all along. That he'd kept her so close without ever telling her who she was. It hurt and she didn't know if she'd ever be able to get over it.
The red head had set up shop in the market place. The only thing she'd ever really known to support herself was working for him so she'd decided to do what she did best. She'd found a small unused market stall and began her own version of a Pawn Shop. Everyone in the are knew of her connections with him and it hurt her business a bit but she didn't really care. This was her life now and she would have to make the best of it.

Rumplestiltskin, unaware of her new found goal in life, happened to be in the area and pass by her market stall with a frown plastered on his face. The new version of Fairy Tale Land had not been as kind to him as he would have liked it to be. For a starter his skin was still showing a hint of gold which signalled that the curse he'd been under hadn't fully disappeared.
As a second thing that made his mood foul he had ended up in this new land without wealth and without a family. In other words, he was worse of than he had ever been before. No money, no friends, no children, no son. His grimace contorted when he saw the little knick-knacks sprawled on the table and looked up to find the face of the owner.
A hint of recognition passed his eyes. "I see you've found a place in this world." He dryly remarked, unaware of her memories and the way she viewed him after all that had happened.

She'd seen him passing by and swallowed hard, turning her back to the front of the stall and the street that passed it. But that didn't seam to stop him from walking up to talk to her. She turned to look at him -- and in nearly a second, all of the sadness he had felt seamed to melt. Seeing his face, it was nearly impossible to stay mad at him. She just hadn't expected him to show up this soon.
But despite the fact that she was feeling less and less hurt by the second...well, he didn't have to know that. "I have, mostly thanks to you. And..." She stopped. She couldn't figure out why her heart was beating so damn fast or why she seamed to feel so awkward about this. Maybe because she'd thought everything had been a lie and she didn't know where or how they-or anyone else- stood. "And how have you been?"
